Chopin Adventure Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Chopin Adventure (the "app"), an iOS game published by PanMarie Studio ("we"). By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Price

The app is free to play. As of the date of these terms, it contains no in-app purchases and no advertising.

Ownership

All artwork, music, sound effects, voice recordings, text, and code in the app — along with the names and designs of its characters, including Chopin and Marie — are owned by PanMarie Studio or its licensors.

The permissions set out below let you use the app's content in the ways described. They do not transfer or assign any of those rights.

Videos and streaming — you're welcome

You are welcome to capture or record your play and share it on video platforms and social media. You don't need to ask us first, and there's no form to fill in.

On monetization: you may earn money through the official monetization features of the platform you use — partner programmes, affiliate schemes, advertising revenue, tips and Super Chats, channel memberships, and the like. This applies equally to let's plays, reviews, guides, and clips.

For companies and organizations: posting and streaming from a company or organization channel is covered by the same permission. If you want to use the app's footage, audio, or characters in advertising for your own product or service, please write to us first through the contact form on this website.

Two requests: please don't publish the app's content in an altered state, and please don't present your work in a way that suggests it is official, or that you are affiliated with PanMarie Studio.

Fan creations

Illustrations, stories, and other fan works featuring the app's characters are welcome, provided they are not commercial. Anything that falls under "merchandise" below is not covered.

What you may not do

Merchandise: do not produce, sell, or distribute goods that use the app's artwork, music, audio, or characters — physical or digital, including clothing, accessories, stationery, sticker packs, asset packs, and NFTs.

Extracting assets: do not pull artwork, music, audio, models, or other assets out of the game's data to distribute, publish, or sell them on their own. (Footage and screenshots of ordinary play are not covered by this.)

The program itself: do not reverse-engineer, modify, copy, or redistribute the app's code, tamper with saved records, or cheat.

Anything else: do not use the app in ways that infringe the rights of PanMarie Studio or anyone else, that break the law, or that place its content alongside material that is obscene or otherwise objectionable.

Where use falls outside these permissions, we may ask that it be corrected or taken down.

Saved data

Your progress is stored on your device. If it is lost — because the app was deleted, the device was reset, or the hardware failed — we cannot restore it.

Changes and availability

We may change or update the app without prior notice. We may also suspend or end the service if circumstances require it.

Liability

We build the app with as much care as we can. Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of it.

We cannot guarantee that the app runs correctly on every device and every version of iOS.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page. We will announce significant changes in the app or on this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of Japan.
