Chopin Adventure Privacy Policy

PanMarie Studio ("we") takes the privacy of everyone who plays Chopin Adventure (the "app") or visits this website seriously. This policy explains how information is handled.

The short version

The app never asks for information that identifies you — no name, email address, phone number, address, or account. There is no field to type a name into. Your progress (how far you have come, the star shards you have collected, your times, the stars you have earned) stays on your device.

Your progress

Progress, records, and settings (sound on or off, language) are stored on your device. None of it is sent to our servers.

This data may be included in your own iCloud backup, depending on your settings. iCloud backup is a service provided by Apple and sits under your own Apple Account. We cannot see its contents.

Photos

The app lets you display a photo of your choosing in the picture frame inside Chopin's house. If you use this feature, the app asks for permission to access your photo library.

The photo you pick is stored and cropped on your device alone, so it can be shown in the frame. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. The app does not read your library as a whole — only the photo you choose. If you don't use the feature, no permission is needed. You can change the permission at any time in your device settings.

Camera, microphone, and location

The app does not use the camera, the microphone, location services, HealthKit, or your contacts.

Advertising and tracking

The app shows no advertising of any kind. It does not request the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across apps or websites.

Usage statistics

As of the date of this policy, the app does not send any information about how it is used. If we later collect anonymous statistics or crash reports to improve quality and fix problems, we will update this policy to say so.

Children

The app is built so that children can play it safely. There are no fields for personal information, no chat or social features, and no advertising links out of the app.

This website

If you write to us through the contact form on this website (chopin-adventure.panmarie.com), we use your name, email address, and message only to write back to you.

If you sign up for the release notice, we store your email address and the language and country you signed up from. We use it for the launch announcement and nothing else. To be removed from the list, contact us through the form.

This website does not track you for advertising and does not collect browsing history.

Sharing with others

We do not share the information we hold with third parties, except where required by law.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page. We will announce significant changes in the app or on this website.
